上个月21号，Google 也终于开始公开测试自家的类 ChatGPT 产品：Google Bard。



Google 在其官方博客文章「Try Bard and share your feedback」表示，Google 已开始在美国和英国地区开放对 Bard 的访问，并承诺随着时间的推移还会将 Bard 的访问权限扩展到更多国家和语言。
Google Bard 是什么

Google 官方博客上个月发布的一篇文章「An important next step on our AI journey」中有介绍 Google Bard：

It’s a really exciting time to be working on these technologies as we translate deep research and breakthroughs into products that truly help people. That’s the journey we’ve been on with large language models. Two years ago we unveiled next-generation language and conversation capabilities powered by our Language Model for Dialogue Applications (or LaMDA for short).

We’ve been working on an experimental conversational AI service, powered by LaMDA, that we’re calling Bard. And today, we’re taking another step forward by opening it up to trusted testers ahead of making it more widely available to the public in the coming weeks.

Bard seeks to combine the breadth of the world’s knowledge with the power, intelligence and creativity of our large language models. It draws on information from the web to provide fresh, high-quality responses. Bard can be an outlet for creativity, and a launchpad for curiosity, helping you to explain new discoveries from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope to a 9-year-old, or learn more about the best strikers in football right now, and then get drills to build your skills.

简言之，Google Bard 一项由 LaMDA 提供支持的对话式 AI 服务，是 Google 直接对标 ChatGPT 的一款 AI 产品。
如何申请注册 Google Bard

相较于申请注册 ChatGPT 而言，申请注册 Google Bard 的步骤要简单很多：
所需时间： 3 minutes.
国内用户申请注册 Google Bard 步骤：

• 开启全局代理；由于众所周知的原因，国内无法正常访问 Google 相关的服务。要申请注册 Google Bard，你首先需要确保自己的电脑/手机可以正常访问 Google。方法很简单，懂的都懂。
  
• 如果你还没有 Google 账号，需注册一个 Google 账号；Google Bard 是 Google 自家的产品，与 Gmail，Google Calendar 等其他 Google 服务类似，你需要使用 Google 账号登录访问。如果你还没有注册过 Google 账号，可以前往 「Google 账号创建页面」注册一个 Google 账号。这个步骤应该不难，可以使用国内手机号接收短信验证码。如有疑问可以在评论区留言。

前往 「Google Bard 官网」，使用你的 Google 账号登录后，点击右下角的 Join waitlist 即可。早申请早通过。






如何使用 Google Bard，以及版本的 Google可以做什么？

根据 Google 官方的「Bard Help 文档」来看，你可以使用 Google Bard 来帮助推进您的想法。在 Bard 的帮助下，您可以执行以下操作：

• 集思广益，制定计划，或找到不同的方法来完成工作
  
• 获取更复杂主题的快速、易于理解的摘要
  
• 创建大纲、电子邮件、博客文章、诗歌等的初稿
  

由于目前 Google Bard 只对美国和英国用户开放，Google Bard 暂不支持除英语外的其他语言。
Bard Help 文档也有提示，在使用 Google Bard 之前，你需要注意以下几点：

• 请勿将 Bard 的回复视为医疗、法律、财务或其他专业建议。
  
• 巴德的回应不代表谷歌的观点，不应归因于谷歌。

题外话：百度的文心一言好用吗？

几日前，百度也发布了文心一言。我还没申请使用，对此毫无兴趣和期待。
从我朋友圈和微信群看到好友分享的使用文心一言的截图来看，百度的文心一言和 ChatGPT 相比差了可不是一点半点，就单独说两者对中文信息的理解来看，ChatGPT 这个舶来品都可以锤爆目前的文心一言。
